Sainsbury's Basics Custard Creams

Advantages: Taste like the expensive brands, only 30p, delicious.
Disadvantages: None whatsoever.
If you're looking for a quick way to get fat then you will want to buy a pack of these. For 30p a pack from your local Sainsburys, not only are they a great price, they also taste delicious too.

The pack comes in the standard white and red that all of the Sainsburys basics range comes in. On the front it has the name and the slogan "no fancy packaging". The rear has all of the nutritional content, ingredients and other information that you usually find on food products.

On opening the pack there are two rows of the biscuits, in total there are about 20-30 biscuits per pack (I forgot to count before eating them). I have tried more expensive versions before and they look exactly the same as them. Each biscuit is 4cm x 3cm x 1cm in size which make it an easy biscuit to hold and easy to eat in one bite!

When it comes to the taste, they can not be faulted at all. The biscuit is sweet and not too crumbly and the cream tastes slightly custard like, however it is not over powering which I like. Once I start a pack, I find these very addictive and can easily finish off a pack in one sitting. Due to this reason I rarely buy them as otherwise I would be very fat!

If you have not tried these ones before then they are well worth trying. They taste and look like the more expensive brands, the only difference is that they come in a plain white pack and they are about a third of the price. They will be yummy with a hot cup of tea whilst watching TV or reading reviews on here.

These have to have a 5/5 rating as they are simply delicious and for the price you cannot go wrong with them at all.
Summary: Why buy the expensive brands when these are just as good!
